Here you can see how the second workshop was.
We made the bamboo spoon according to Ms. Okihara’s instructions.

Let’s start now.

With the knife, shave the bamboo into the round form

Cut the upside.

Then shave the stem part again and again.

Everyone was keen on shaving.

Ms. Okihara says, ‘the shape naturally become to suit your hands.’
After sanding and varnishing with olive oil, we finally finished it.
Every spoon has each unique feature.

After the workshop, we enjoyed the first touch of the spoon with tea and sweets.

report of workshop - part 1

Yesterday, we made the aroma handcream for the first work shop at gallery trax.

Everyone was so serious to choose the scent, with trying many kinds of fragrance samples, hearing the effects and features from Ms. Tsutae.

Melting the bee wax on the stove.

The delicious lunch was ready while waiting till the cream become solid.
Everyone really enjoyed it.

At last, we finished making the handcream of unique scent.
The texture is very soft and spread into your skin.

The gallery trax was filled with the delightful scent.

Tableware – Yukie Ishihara -

The limited tableware of Yukie Ishihara is added to our special offering for Christmas.
Not the same as previous series, this limited edition is specially made for evam eva.

How about making aroma cream and bottle it in the beautiful glass container?

The lecturer Ms. Tsutae would help you in choosing one of the five blended scent, with considering your physical condition or favorite.
Until your cream would turn into solid, please have your pleasant time with the lunch, full of natural and tasty stuffs.

You can enjoy the scent of cream, spreading it on your dry part, neck or breast with fine effects to your body.
You’ll also have the bag with your name, for your bringing the cream back to your home.


Her aroma oil also gets very good reputation from our customers.
They say they can sleep very well with its gentle scent.
Filled in the tiny bottle, it is suitable for your daily use as well as a gift.

Compared to the metal spoon, the bamboo spoon touches your mouth more softly and its handle fits your hand more comfortably.
Moreover, it could be useful when you eat something hot like soup, because the spoon itself does not become hot.

You have to handle it with care, however, you can enjoy the changing of bamboo color.

Ms. Okihara is the artist who creates bamboo cutlery and weaves baskets, and she lives in the nature of Yamanashi.
The comfortable forms created in her daily life, enriches our lives, as the essential tools for everyday.

You can choose the one style of three spoon shapes and you can make your original spoon from the Yamanashi bamboo.

After the lecture, you can enjoy the tea time with your own spoon.

You can also have the chance to purchase her another cutlery.

In the silence far from your ordinal place, you will pass such a comfortable time to concentrate on creating something.
